Nature coaching involves both working IN nature, by being outdoors in a natural environment and working WITH nature, by partnering and bringing nature into the conversation. There are many ways to do this. A very simple example is by paying attention to our natural surroundings and taking notice of to the insight nature is offering to us in the moment. 

There are huge benefits of working with nature in coaching. At one level simply being in nature is good for us as human beings. It's good for all aspects of our health and wellbeing - physical, mental and emotional. 

Further in our urbanised, digital and attention fatigued age being in nature has unique abilities to restore our cognitive ability to concentrate, pay attention and focus.

More deeply nature is a vastly rich source of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Through paying attention to and noticing our natural environment we can often surface hidden insights and understanding into our situation that enable us to reach significant clarity and make real progress in our work and lives.

Finally, experiencing nature based coaching offers a wonderful opportunity for us to rediscover and develop our relationship with nature and the natural world. Modern life has separated us from nature to the detriment of ourselves and the planet. Nature Coaching offers a way to restore this relationship and a way of being with and caring for the natural world in order to safeguard it for our future.
